Color quality: the whole reason to buy
Dye-sublimation prints the Pearl N200 Pro's party trick: dye vapor diffuses into the paper instead of smearing ink dots on top of it. Skin tones come out warm, skies stay saturated without banding, and each print gets a protective overcoat that resists fingerprints — something Zink printers simply can't match at this size.
Speed and portability
At roughly 50 seconds a print it won't keep up with a party of twenty people, but it's quiet enough for a dinner table. It charges over USB-C and slips into a jacket pocket — smaller than a paperback, heavier than it looks (in a good, solid way).
The catch: running costs
The value pack (50 sheets + 5 cartridges) works out to about 65¢ a photo. That's fine for memories; it's terrible for a school project. If you print more than a hundred photos a year, do the math on the M200's cheaper per-sheet 4x6" consumables or a compact inkjet instead.
